Create a workspace work that will work for you
Working for yourself does tend to entail long hours, and
what is more, little downtime, so spend on equipment that
will support you. This can include an ergonomic keyboard,
a comfy chair, and a proper desk or work area.
Understand and grow your network
Growing your network is a must; and having a structured
lead/conversion system in position can fast-track your
success and the time spent setting up. Compelling yourself
to do this can also help ll the loneliness. Schedule a
coffee-break time with other like-minded peopled, and
discuss ideas.
In the end, be realistic
Perform a little self-analysis after each working day.
Gauge what worked, and what did not, and ask yourself
how can you x such issues in the future. Also, if self-doubt
creeps in, focus on your mental health by reading or
meditation. You can also spend time with someone who
can lift you up as well as support you. In addition, making
time for something you love, other than your work, will help
to re-energise and renew you, thus nurturing your creative
thought.
