Sarongs aren’t limited to the pool or beach − you can also
wear them with any outt. For instance, you can wear a
sarong when going out in the evenings to meet friends for
cocktails. But you can maximise your sarong and even turn
it into an outt with these easy steps, to get an eye-
catching look this summer:
1. CHIC CAPE
Ideally, use a medium-length rectangular sarong for this
look. Holding the sarong vertically behind you, drape the
top ends over your shoulders, and pull down to waist
height. Now pinch the sides of the sarong, and tie to each
end to form billowy sleeves. Adjust over your shoulders
2. OPEN-FRONT HALTER DRESS
Use a medium or long rectangular sarong for this look. Hold
the sarong behind you, and bring it forward under your
arms. Take the ends and tie a knot at your chest, leaving
enough to then tie another knot behind your neck.
3. CROP TOP
Use a square sarong. Fold the sarong into a triangle, and
hold behind you with the point facing down. Holding the
two ends, drape it over your shoulders and cross each end
over your chest. Double tie at the back, and tuck the ends
in under the knot..
4. HAREM-PANTS JUMPSUIT
Use a long, rectangular sarong. Holding the sarong
vertically in front of you, wrap the top ends over your chest
and under your arms, making a double knot behind your
back. Pull the bottom edge of the sarong through your
legs; holding the two ends, pull up to your waist and tie in
the front with another double knot.
5. ONE-SHOULDER DRESS
Use a medium or long rectangular sarong. Holding the
sarong vertically under one arm, bring the two ends over
the opposite shoulder, and tie a double knot. Gather the
two edges at the waist, and tie another double knot.
