FRAUDULENT MANGWANANI BOOKINGS

I hope this message finds you well and warm!

FRAUDULENT MANGWANANI BOOKINGS

It has come to our attention that there is a massive fraud syndicate that included, unfortunately, some of our Senior Mangwanani Call
Centre Agents plus individuals in the community that are accomplices also selling fraudulent Mangwanani Full Day, Half Day and Night
Spa bookings.

The Mangwanani “bookings” were/are being sold by these individuals and used without any payment to Mangwanani. It is an elaborate
and devious scheme that has been ongoing for some time. They are selling them to individuals that are paying them directly into their
personal bank accounts and then the “payee” is spending the Full Day/Night Spa at Mangwanani, sometimes including Gift Hampers,
Customised Gowns etc without Mangwanani being compensated at all. Mangwanani then carries the cost of all our utilities, rental, staff
and therapist’s treatments, breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and bar, laundry, slippers, bottles etc – without Mangwanani receiving any
payment at all for the bookings PLUS it filled up spaces for actual paying customers.

These bookings are not valid and do not originate from our official sales channels or partners and the “customers” are aware that they
are not paying Mangwanani. This fraud scheme has cost the company millions of rands over the past few years and has put the
company into significant financial difficulty.

To safeguard your interests and ensure your experience with Mangwanani remains positive and secure, we are taking immediate action:

1. We have engaged the Hawks and the SAPS, and we have cases against the staff that are involved, and we are investigating
the individuals that are selling and individuals that have used these bookings.

2. We are actively identifying and tracking the fraudulent bookings in circulation and the past bookings that have been used – we
have bank accounts, cctv and statements.

3. We are implementing additional security measures to prevent further unauthorised distribution and use of these counterfeit
bookings.

4. Verification Process: If you have purchased or received a Mangwanani voucher recently, we urge you to verify its authenticity
by contacting Mangwanani.

5. We are also requesting Guests to bring their proof of payment to the Spa on the day of their Spa. We understand this is an
additional burden on you, our client, and we apologise but we need to be assured that the booking was not one of the
fraudulent non-payments. This has also verified that the buyers of these bookings were aware that they were fraudulent as
recently when we have asked guests for proof of payment, they have either turned and walked away or not attended the spa.

6. Legal Action: We are pursuing legal action against those responsible for the creation, distribution and use of these fraudulent
bookings.

7. To individuals that have “purchased” and used these bookings, we would like to advise that the use of fraudulent vouchers or
bookings is a criminal offence, and you can be held liable for this. We have the account information of the payments that have
been made to the individuals, so the Hawks will be investigating these.

We would like to provide individuals and groups that attended the Spa’s for Full Day, Night Spa, Half Day etc on these “stolen bookings”,
an opportunity to protect themselves against prosecution by paying Mangwanani for the service they were provided and enjoyed.
If you have been implicated in fraud scheme by having used these bookings and attended the spa “illegally”, by purchasing bookings
from individuals, which is theft, we will guarantee you amnesty against prosecution if you pay the minimal amount of R600 per person
(regardless of package) per person, per booking into the Mangwanani bank account. This will mitigate some of the loss and ensure that
you are safe from prosecution.
